Sisters, what would I do without them? Growing up with four sisters and one baby brother (can't leave him out) has always been exciting to say the least. Sisters can be the best and sometimes most irritating of friends. As adults now we laugh at the things that we use to fight about. Funny isn't it! The different things we did to get each other in trouble...but I seem to have been the recipient of most of the whippings or as we say in the South, "whoppin'." Sisters have a connection and their own language, especially the twins. Even today when we are all together, Eva & Neva will break out in their own secret language. Our children will roll their eyes, shake their head and leave the room.
It's not hard to love my sisters. They're always there when I need them. They help me get through the "stuff." They push me to keep on and sometimes PUSH MY BUTTONS! They are encouraging, in other words...BOSSY. The best thing about having an older sister is she will always be the oldest and having younger sisters is that I will always be more mature. ha-ha
I am so thankful for my sisters and mom that took their time to spend the day with me two weeks ago. The first anniversary of Little Wade's home going was more difficult than I thought it would be. But these crazy sisters that I fought and aggrevated with all my life was with me to hold me as I fell apart. Thanks! I love y'all.....Kaki Burn
