I write this as we are traveling home from a blessed weekend at Bellwood Baptist Church in Richmond, VA and Salem Baptist in Lincolnton, NC. First let me tell you about the special service at Bellwood. Bellwood is a congregation of God's people who we love very much. Being VBS kick off Sunday, the children wanted to sing. To our pleasant surprise, they performed along with their puppet ministry team, to one of Wade's song...."STEP TO THE RIGHT." It was AWESOME! I had the opportunity to share as well and God moved in the service. At the close of the service, Wendy read a poem that she had written to Wade and I in memory of Little Wade. I will post it as soon as I have a copy. Thank you Wendy.....you blessed our hearts!
Following the morning service we drove to Lincolnton, NC to Salem Baptist Church for a great service and time of fellowship. We will be returning to SBC, May 9-10, 2009. I will be the keynote speaker at a Ladies Conference and Wade in concert on Mother's Day. This conference may be 2 sessions with Wade providing the music as well.
